LED Wall Planner

Enter the size of your wall. The planner fits it to a real cabinet grid and shows the resolution, the data ports the controller needs, and the approximate power and weight. Send the plan and our team confirms it after a site survey.

LED Wall Planning Questions

How many cabinets does my LED wall need?

Divide the wall width and height by the cabinet size and round to whole cabinets. A 4 x 2.25 m wall in 500 x 500 mm cabinets is 8 x 5 cabinets, which builds to 4 x 2.5 m; the planner shows the nearest size you can actually build.

What is a data port on an LED controller?

Each output port on the sending card or controller drives a set number of pixels, roughly 650,000 for a 1 Gbps port. Larger or finer walls need more ports, which decides the controller model.

How much power does an LED wall use?

It depends on brightness and content. Planning figures are about 450 to 650 W per square metre at full white indoors and more outdoors; typical video uses roughly a third of that. Your electrician sizes the supply on the maximum.

How heavy is an LED video wall?

Indoor die-cast cabinets weigh roughly 25 to 30 kg per square metre, and outdoor cabinets more. The wall or structure must carry that weight plus the frame, so we check it during the survey.
