Approvals Handled by Us
We handle the approvals ourselves: RTA, Municipality and any other government approval a screen needs, when one is required. The agency or government fee is charged on top, at cost, exactly as the agency or government sets it.
Name Boards, Screens and the Rules
A name board is usually built from backlit or front-lit letters with LED modules inside, fixed to a frame or directly to the facade. Letters can be acrylic, stainless steel or aluminium, in your brand colours, with a clean finish that looks right in daylight and at night.
Dubai has clear rules for trade-name signs: one trade name per shopfront, a horizontal sign with the Arabic name above the English, a size in proportion to the frontage, approved brightness, and no animation on the name itself. The Department of Economy and Tourism issues the trade-name sign permit, following the Outdoor Advertising Manual from RTA and Dubai Municipality.
If you want moving content, it goes on a separate LED display or window screen, which has its own advertising approval. We advise which route fits your shop, prepare the drawing and handle the permit, with the government fee charged at cost.

Questions About LED Shop Signs
Do I need a permit for an LED shop sign in Dubai?
Yes. Trade-name signs need a permit from the Department of Economy and Tourism, and advertising screens need their own approval. We prepare the drawing and file it for you; the government fee is charged at cost.
Can my shop name board flash or animate?
Not for the trade name in Dubai: the current rules ask for a static name with approved brightness. Moving content can run on a separate LED screen with its own approval.
LED letters or a light box: which is better?
Built-up LED letters look sharper and more premium; a light box costs less and suits small fronts. We show both on a drawing of your shopfront before you decide.
Do you remove the old sign?
Yes. We take down the old sign, repair the fixing points and install the new one, usually at night so the shop can stay open.
Do you make signs outside Dubai?
Yes. We make and install signage across all seven emirates and the GCC, and follow the rules of each emirate.
