Stadium and Arena LED: Perimeter Boards and Scoreboards
Stadium LED covers the perimeter boards around the pitch, the scoreboard and giant video screens, and the screens in concourses and hospitality areas. We supply, install and support stadium and arena LED for football, cricket and multi-sport venues, indoor arenas, and school and club grounds across the UAE and the GCC.

Where Stadium and Arena LED Is Used
Typical projects we plan and install.
Perimeter Advertising Boards
Pitchside LED that runs sponsor loops and looks sharp on the TV cameras.
Scoreboards and Giant Screens
Scores, replays and live video for every seat in the bowl.
Indoor Arenas and Sports Halls
Courtside boards, centre-hung screens and wall screens for indoor sport.
Concourses and Hospitality
Information, menus and live match feeds in walkways, lounges and VIP boxes.
What Stadium LED Needs
Perimeter boards sit close to the play, so they use impact-resistant cabinets with a padded cover on the top edge and a tilt that faces the main camera. P8 to P10 is common for outdoor pitchside boards; indoor arenas often use P4 to P6.
Scoreboards and giant screens are watched from 30 m to well over 100 m away, so the pitch can be larger, but brightness must stay high in daylight: 6,000 nits and above in an open stadium, with sealed, ventilated cabinets for the UAE heat.
Match-day control matters as much as the screen. One controller runs scores, replays, sponsor loops and announcements across the venue, with a backup signal path so one fault does not black out the boards.
Brightness
| Brightness | Where the Screen Sits |
|---|---|
| 600 to 1,200 nits | Indoor, away from windows |
| 1,500 to 2,500 nits | Indoor, facing glass or in an atrium |
| 2,500 to 4,000 nits | Shopfront, behind glass facing the street |
| 4,500 to 5,500 nits | Outdoor, mostly shaded |
| 6,000 nits and above | Outdoor, direct UAE sun |

Questions About Stadium LED
What pixel pitch is used for stadium perimeter LED?
Outdoor perimeter boards commonly use P8 to P10, which looks sharp on TV cameras and from the stands. Indoor arenas, where the crowd sits closer, often use P4 to P6.
Can perimeter boards be moved between events?
Yes. Many perimeter systems sit on adjustable stands and can be moved, re-angled or stored between events.
How are players kept safe around the boards?
Boards get a padded protective cover on the top edge and are placed at the distance the venue and the league ask for.
Do you train our operators for match days?
Yes. We set up the control system, train your operators and support you on event days when you need us.
Can you rent stadium screens for a single event?
Yes. For one-off events we supply rental LED walls and perimeter boards with our own crew. See our event LED rental page.
