Projector Supply and Installation

A projector throws the picture onto a screen or wall, which makes it the simplest way to get a very large image in a meeting room, classroom, hall or venue. We supply and install projectors, screens and mounts for offices, schools, hotels and event spaces, and plan brightness and throw distance for the room.

Where a Projector Makes Sense

Typical projects we plan and install.

Meeting and Training Rooms

A large image for presentations at a lower cost than a big screen.

Halls and Ballrooms

High-brightness projectors for events in large rooms.

Classrooms

Short-throw projectors that avoid shadows on the board.

Home Cinema

A dedicated room with a proper screen and sound.

Lumens, Throw and Screen

Brightness is measured in lumens. A dark room needs far less than a meeting room with the lights on or a hall with daylight. We measure the room light and the screen size before choosing.

Throw distance is how far the projector sits from the screen. A short-throw projector sits close to the wall; a long-throw unit hangs at the back of a hall. The lens decides where it can be mounted.

Laser projectors cost more up front but avoid lamp changes and keep their brightness longer, which suits rooms used every day.

Questions About Projectors

Projector or LED screen: which is better?

A projector is cheaper for a large image in a room you can dim. In a bright room, or where the screen runs all day, an LED screen or LCD video wall gives a much better picture.

How many lumens do I need?

It depends on the room light and screen size. Meeting rooms with lights on need far more than a dark cinema room. We advise after seeing the room.

Can you mount a projector on a high ceiling?

Yes. We use extension poles or hang it from the structure, and run power and signal cables neatly to the source.

Do you supply projector screens?

Yes. Fixed frame, motorized and pull-down screens, sized to the projector and the room.

Projector or video wall for a control room?

A video wall. Control rooms run all day with the lights on, where projectors lose contrast and need lamp or laser servicing. Fine-pitch LED or narrow-bezel LCD walls suit them far better.

Can you supply projectors for events?

Yes, for halls and conferences we supply and install projectors and screens, or LED walls when the room is too bright for projection.
